I am sure that all Fellows who were present at the IAML's AGM and Canadian Chapter meeting in Vancouver in early September will agree that the meeting was a considerable success. The feedback has been very positive indeed. There was particular praise for the educational programme and the Academy will be working hard to try to maintain the standard in Queenstown in 2010.
I am now writing to let you know that I have set up a Past Meeting page for the Vancouver meeting. From that page, Fellows have access to all educational programme papers from the meeting, including the paper on "Domestic Violence and Family Dysfunction" which was delivered by The Rt Hon the Baroness Scotland of Asthal QC, Attorney General of England and Wales and Northern Ireland (pictured right). This paper was not included in the Handbook or on the USBs received by Fellows at the meeting.
To access the Past Meeting page, you will need to login to the IAML website (www.iaml.org) using your username and password. If you don't know or have forgotten your username or password then click on "Forgotten Password" in the Member Login box in the left-hand column of the screen and a reminder will be e-mailed to you. Once logged in, click on "Past Meetings" in the Member Options box in the left-hand column of the screen and select the Vancouver meeting.
I have also included some pictures from the meeting on the Past Meeting pages. If you have any more photos that you would like to share with the Fellows, please send them to me and I will be happy to post them on the site.
With best wishes, Donna
