I am writing to remind you that your IAML annual fees for 2010 are now due.
Payment should only be made if you remain in good standing in your jurisdiction, and receipt of payment will be treated as certification that you remain entitled to practice law. Please pay by 31st March 2010 in order to remain a Fellow of the Academy.
Bylaw 1.9c of the Academy's Bylaws provides that Fellows whose dues or
assessments have not been paid within ninety days after the issue of the
original bill may be removed from the rolls of the Academy and as a consequence
will not appear in next year's Certified List.
I am anxious that any oversight on your part, or error on ours, should
not inadvertently create that situation and I accordingly urge you to respond
to this reminder as soon as possible.
Dues requests are available for review and payment online this year. You may pay either by credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other card types) or by post (by cheque). Both processes require you to follow the steps below.
Login to the website. If you don't know or have forgotten your password then click on Forgotten Password? and enter your e-mail address. A new password and reminder of your username will be e-mailed to you
Once logged in, click on "My Account" under Member Options in the left-hand column
Click submit next to "Pay These Dues Online" to review your dues invoice and then proceed to checkout where you can choose to either pay by post or online by credit/debit card.
If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help.
If, for some reason, you are having difficulty paying, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss options.
If you do not wish to remain a Fellow of the Academy, I would be very grateful if you would advise me by return.
