Profile: Susan Myres has practiced family law in Houston for almost 30 years. She is a leader in several family law organisations including serving as Chair of the Membership Committee of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as ex-officio to the Executive Committe, a member of the Board of Governors and is a Vice President of the USA Chapter of IAML. Locally she is a former leader and remains an active member of the Family Law Section of the Houston Bar Association, Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists and the Burta Rhodes Raborn Family Law America Inn of Court. Her statewide activities include serving as Vice- Chair of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for Family Law Commission, member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section and the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists. She and her law partner, Laura Dale, provide a high value of representation, while working within the parameters set by their clients. Susan is an actice in her community. She is married to John Uri and the mother of Alexandra.
