Profile: Born in Gijón (Asturias) north of Spain in 1957. Entered Law College at Oviedo University. With his wife Mrs Nuria Chamorro, started the firm Alonso & Chamorro C.S. Lawyers. Acting as a lawyer in Spain and abroad dealing with national and international child abduction, mainly in Arabic and Latin American countries. Under contract at Oviedo University teaching Civil Law, giving Master lessons as a seasonal teacher at the King Charles 3rd University of Madrid, and at the Oviedo College of the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Has written several articles on family law and has given conferences on family violence and child abduction around Spain, organised by councils, bar and private associations. Member of the Spanish Association of Family Lawyers.
