Join the IAML
If you are interested in joining the Academy, please review our Admission Criteria to help you to understand whether or not you would be eligible for membership. If you are happy that you meet the criteria then use the link below to request an invitation package. Please note that you will be charged an administration fee of $80 (USA candidates) or £50 (Non-USA candidates). This fee is not refundable but is credited against fees on election and admission to the Academy. In addition we strongly recommend that your professional referees include two active, independent senior family law practitioners who do not practise with you but have knowledge of your practice and who have agreed to provide written references upon request from us. It is desirable, although not essential, that at least one of these referees be a Fellow of the IAML. If your request for invitation is successful, you will be required to pay an initial joining fee of $200 (USA) or £125 (Non-USA), a membership fee, currently $420 (USA) or £270 (Non-USA) per year. The Chapters also charge annual fees: USA Chapter $250, Canadian Chapter £50, European Chapter £75.
